    604c Advice

    Hello Friends,

I've currently got a 604c that was re-coned about 15 years ago by a speaker shop in New York City. I don't recall their name, but can check on the speaker.

I plan to acquire a second 604c in December. The seller claims it is in mint condition. Both speakers have the original crossover.

Do you think I should send both to Great Plains Audio for checking out and matching, or should I just wire 'em up and see how they sound? I'll be playing through a restored Fisher x100B amp.

Many thanks for your input, I appreciate the advice!

    Best,
    Bob

    Hi Bob,

I think you would put them side by side, have a listen and then make that decision.
Nothing like a great big pair of speakers to make your day.
